Robert Trory, without doubt,
had a great success with Tchaikovskys First Symphony. He was in control
of a direct and immediate interpretation which delivered both melody and
dramatic climax to orchestra and audience. It was as enjoyable as it could
possibly have been.
Francesca Libetta attacked
Mozarts Piano Concerto in Eb No22 in his own special way. But Robert
Trory again demonstrated that he could match this perfectly. This created a
great tension over the concerto.
It was a concert of unreserved
musical enjoyment.
